It’s day four of ice and snow on the roads, and here it is lightly snowing again. A lot of people have had trouble getting out and moving around on the roads. Several of our neighbors haven’t been out of the house since the snowstorm blew through earlier in the week. As a result, there have been some cancellations; Bible Study, Pot Luck & Prayer, and others.
The point is, we miss getting together with you when stuff like this happens. We hope you’re all warm and safe, and that we’ll see your smilling faces on Sunday morning, if not before.
My favorite part of the worship service is “Sharing of God’s Peace”. Then I get to grip your hand, look into your eyes, and let you know that I enjoy seeing you, and that I wish you Peace in your heart.

Hello friends and welcome to the Elim Community blog site.
Many of us are new to the blog world, so this will be a learning experience for most of us. In general, the intent is to provide a discussion forum for almost anything you want to talk about. I say almost because we will need to have guidelines to keep the conversation civil. Without setting specific limits, we just ask that you communicate in a constructive and positive way. Avoid invective, insults, crude references or rude comments. We have the ability to edit, but will refrain from using it unless absolutely necessary.
Topics of discussion can be anything you wish. If it doesn’t fit into one of the categories we have established, start a new category. You can upload a variety of pictures, video, audio, charts, graphs, and files of almost any kind.
This is a “WordPress” blog site, so you will have access to a multitude of other blogs. If you go there, you are on your own. We can’t be responsible for what you might encounter once you leave Elim’s area.
This site will probably take a while to find its legs. Be patient, contribute, and come back often.
